Welcome to our blog! We are missionaries to Spain who use photography to be a blessing to other missionaries and pastors. Since then, God has truly blessed our hobby and we are enjoying taking pictures even more! Feel free to comment! We love hearing about people and sharing experiences on photography, missions, and God!

Sneak Peek: Stephen and Jacqueline

And here are Stephen and Jacqueline!!!! We had a great time with them taking pictures downtown! The weather was perfect, and the light was just even more perfect!!! God had the day prepared for us! We spent about two hours taking pictures, and we found so many cute spots, and at the very end we tried a special one that we will reveal in a future post ;) As always, the pictures at the end of the photo shoot are the ones that we end up liking the most!
They were such a cute couple to photograph! And she had such beautiful green eyes! I love how they turned out in the pictures! :D
Thank you Stephen and Jacqueline!!!

Happy Thanksgiving!

So we are having a little banquet over here! Toasted bread with olive oil and parsley, prosciutto, and manchego cheese, stuffing, mashed potatoes, stuffed crust pizza, eggnog...! I know, it doesn't match at all, but we just got a little bit of all the little things that we like. And of course, we needed to put a little from our Spain origins in our Thanksgiving meal! I missed manchego cheese with prosciutto so much!!! If you have never tried it, I highly recommend you to! Thanks to my mother-in-law for this meal, she's great!
We also would like to thank God for all His blessings and goodness. For how good He takes cares of us and our things when we put it all in His hands! And for drawing us closer to Him each day! Praise God for salvation too! We are so thankful that He sent His only Son to die for our sins, and to give us salvation! :) We have a great God!
I just thought I would drop a little note :)
Happy Thanksgiving!!!

Chad & Tristin

Today we had the opportunity to do an "In Love" photo session with Chad and Tristin. We met them at college, and they've been married for a few years. The first thing I asked them when I saw them was: "are you guys nervous?" And they said: "No, nervous why?" :D So as you can see in the pictures, they were not nervous at all! (as far as I know!) They did so great!!!! I love it when photo sessions go so smooth! They just knew what to do the whole time, they were so sweet to each other, and we found a few cool new spots to try new poses! I loved that there was no pressure, plenty of time to experiment with new backgrounds, angles, poses, etc. We had a lot of fun with them! They're a very cool couple :)
Thank you Chad and Tristin!!! We hope you like them as much as we do!!!

Our weekend!

So we thought that from now on our weekends would be exclusively to relax since during the week we just work and study and work and work... but nope! It just keeps getting busier every time! But praise God things always work out and it is for the better! This weekend we found the place where we want to live! We just have to pray that God will work it all out! And I'm sure He will because He has been blessing us so much and answering all our prayers! The place where we want to move is perfect! We just love it! Our cousin Fran found it for us :) Thank you Fran! He is being such a blessing to us with all this moving process! So, like I said, we're praying and hopefully we'll have our new home soon :)

This Sunday was picture Sunday for the Spanish ministry at our church! It was really fun! We took pictures of every family! It was a new challenge because we had never done this before, but it was really fun! It was a beautiful day so we were able to take pictures outside on a cute little bench in the only cute corner where there was a shade. And that shade was perfect! It made the pictures turn out with a really good light! Today I finished editing all the pictures and preparing them to get them printed, and all the families look so cute! The only problem was: Nate and I DID NOT get our picture taken!!!!!!!!!!!!! I completely forgot!!!!!! We had our friend Emili help us write down the names of the families and at the end I forgot to ask her to take a picture of us! (btw, thank your for your help Emili!) So I guess we'll have to fix or substitute that picture, and I already have in my head what I want to do... but I won't say anything till it's done! wohoooo!!!!

We have more sessions coming up this week so stay tuned!

Have a great day!

Charity

Today Charity and I went out to take some pictures of her! She's so pretty!!! I knew she would make very good pictures! We met here in TN a couple of months ago. She's learning Spanish and she's doing really good! I can't wait to see her visit us in Spain!
We shot pictures for about an hour, since it gets dark so fast! The light was super low and I had to bring up the ISO a lot. But it worked really good, the light was low but gorgeous, and we got a lot of pictures that I love! She did so great! At the second pose, she already knew what to do, I didn't even have to tell her what to do! It's like she knew what I wanted :)
Thank you Charity!!! I can't wait to show you the rest! See you in a few days ;)

Sneak Peek: Tim and Annabel

Today I had the opportunity to shoot a mini in-love session for Tim and Annabel! They're such a great couple! We met Tim at college and we met Annabel after they got married. Today we went to a park with their dog Harby (forgive me if I spelled it wrong!), and we took a few pictures of just them and a few of them with their dog. The dog was super cute! I had to end up doing a lot of crazy things so he would look at the camera though, but it was really fun! Tim and Annabel did so good at the session! I barely had to tell them what to do! They were just themselves, and I love how natural the pictures turned out! Thank you Tim and Annabel! It was a lot of fun!

This is just a sneak peek, more to come later on!

Have a great day and thank you for stopping by!

I suggest to click on it to see it bigger! It makes a difference ;)
