Welcome to our blog! We are missionaries to Spain who use photography to be a blessing to other missionaries and pastors. Since then, God has truly blessed our hobby and we are enjoying taking pictures even more! Feel free to comment! We love hearing about people and sharing experiences on photography, missions, and God!

James

James is a very good friend of ours and he works with Nate. Yesterday we got on his truck and drove around the country areas of Knoxville to find some cool places to take pictures at. He knows pretty much where everything is around here! I would have been so lost by myself! But we found a field, and some cool roads, and we just started shooting and shooting, and we shot about 200 pictures! I thought he was gonna start hating us or something after 2 hours, hehe! But he was always willing to do anything to help us! He drove around till we would like a background for the pictures. He would pose and laugh and smile and then serious, etc etc It was great! We all had a great time! Nate, who has a lot of great ideas, was there the whole time making him laugh! :D So James looked very natural in the pics! Thanks James for all your help! And again, thanks Nate! I love you, you're the best!!! You're getting so good at this photography thing! And I love how you edited the first one! It's the best one!

Caleb

Isn't he the cutest kid? He was the ring bearer at our wedding, and everybody loved him! I had the opportunity to go down to Huntsville, AL for a Photography Conference at Heather Bookout Studio! It was so great!!! I learned so many things that I can't wait to apply them all!!! It was 2 days, 7 hours a day, learning about the Photography business, marketing, sales, editing, photo sessions, etc... It was such a blessing! I signed up for it a couple of months ago but they told me they were booked for the whole year. Two weeks ago, they sent me an email saying that they had 3 cancellations and that I could go ahead and grab a spot! God is so good to me! He keeps blessing our lives so much! It was the right time, the perfect conference, with great people teaching us and helping us during the whole conference! After the conference, Caleb, his brother, his mom and I went to a park and I shot about 120 pictures!!!! That for me is a lot! :D
He was sooooo cute! His brother Josue kept making him laugh so he would look all smily on the pictures, and that was a huge help!!! They are a great family, always willing to be a blessing to everybody, and they've been a blessing to me! Nate has been helping me decide about the editing for the pictures. Like always, he's always there for me! I missed him so much during the conference that I don't ever want to go anywhere far away from him! I love you mi amor! Thank you for being so encouraging to me!!!

I hope you guys enjoy these pics!!!!

Our wonderful 3 month anniversary!

So, last saturday we went to downtown knoxville to celebrate our 3 month anniversary! Since we haven't been married for a year yet, we take very seriously these little monthly anniversaries :D Nathan surprised me in the morning telling me that he wanted to take me there and just take a walk while we could take pictures of each other and then he would take me to one of those restaurants in the big plaza that have "terrazas" (where you can sit and eat outside) for dinner. They happened to have a dog show or contest right there so we got to see a lot of dogs everywhere and lots of people just walking around and enjoying the day! It was great! It felt like being in Spain... by the time we got to the plaza, I had dropped my camera off at the car so that I wouldn't have to carry it. So we didn't take any picture of the dog show. But Nate let me take a lot of pictures of him, and I love how they turned out!!! He looks soooooo cute!!!! He is the best!!!! It was a wonderful day, I had a great time with him and we had so much fun! I love you Nate!

Fatima

Today I went to downtown Knoxville again to take some pictures for my very good friend Fatima! She was also one of my bridesmaids. She did such a great job! :D We spent about an hour and a half walking around downtown and trying to find good spots at 2 pm... it was very sunny (2 pm is not the best time for photo shootings) and so hot and we got soooo tired! but it was worth it! We had a great time and it helped me learn some more and improve a few things! I can't wait to keep taking some more pictures!!!!
