Every year, September is to me like the beginning of a new year. It means colder weather, beautiful colorful leaves on the trees with the coming of the fall, school, new styles...I just love September! And after reviewing some aspects of my business, I realized of some changes I needed to make. One of them is our referrals. It is something I had been wanting to do but I was never sure how to approach it. So here it is! Nate and Arancha Photography´s Referral Program! Here are all the details!

- You must be a customer of Nate & Arancha Photography, which means, you have already booked and had a session with us.

- The number of referrals is unlimited. The more people we book from your referrals, the more savings for you!

- For each full session we book from your referral, we will give you a $20 credit for you to use in any product or session. You can do a mini session, full session, purchase cards or an album...

- For every mini session we book from your referral, we will give you a $10 credit.

- For every 5 referrals we book from you....you get a COMPLIMENTARY MINI SESSION! (and all your pictures on cd!)

Or

- For every 7 referrals we book from you...COMPLIMENTARY FULL SESSION! (and all the pictures on cd, of course!)

Discussion Board and freebies!

Coffee Table Books

I remember when Nate and I were looking for a wedding photographer. One of the things that really wowed us was the magazine style books. We thought it was the most amazing wedding product ever. Now as photographers, we have seen all kind of albums that we love and would love to have for our wedding pictures. But this, a coffee table book, still remains special. I spent hours designing this one and was looking forward to seeing the results. And here it is! A 10x10 coffee table book with a custom hard cover. It is one of those books that you can leave on your coffee table permanently and it won't make your house look like you didn't pick up. It's just made to be there and show to all your guests the story of one of the most wonderful days of your life. From beginning to end. The whole story of your wedding day.

Matt & Brittany's Coffee Table Book

When I asked Brittany what style of photo books she liked, either elegant classic or funky fun, she said funky! Even though I love classic elegant books, funky ones are always so much more fun to design! So here is what I did! I purchased some cute templates and personalized them! Brag Books

A picture of the accordion book we ordered for my mother-in-law! I love it! This one is 3x3 and has pearl paper. Perfect to carry it with you! It has the pictures of all his grandchildren together. (Some of them we took, but some of them we didn't) The picture is actually showing two accordion books but it is to show the front and the back at the same time :) I can't wait to order my own with my baby's pictures!

Wohoooo! Christmas coming soon, and a huge special coming too!

My favorite time of the year is getting closer! I'm really enjoying the fall and I love all the changes that come with it (not the cold..) I love the mood, the colors, the new clothes (different for me this year, since I had to buy a new wardrobe to fit my baby belly). But even though I'm thoroughly enjoying this season, I still can't wait till Christmas. Everything is just different at Christmas! I love Christmas songs, I love seeing lights, ornaments, Christmas trees, etc. every where I go. So I truly can't wait till November when all this gets started! And when December gets here, it is time (and a good) excuse to bake cookies, peppermint brownies, make trips to Starbucks to enjoy some white chocolate peppermint lattes, cuddle with my hubby on the couch and watch Christmas movies, etc... Yessss, I'm getting mushy! But these Christmas are going to be different: we have our little one with us, still in my belly, but he's a part of us! And it's going to be our first Christmas at home, just us, being able to decorate the house and be homey and just enjoy the season with no rush! I will miss spending this time with my family in Spain, but I know they will be coming soon to meet our baby boy!

I am going to start working soon on the Christmas cards for this year!!!!! Actually, I have a lot of ideas I want to put into practice! "Daddy and me" special edition!

It is the time!!! We are offering a new special edition of mini sessions! And this time it's for Father's Day! Because we think that there is nothing as sweet as a picture of daddy with his child. Just look at this picture! It's actually one of my favorites! And I think it's so sweet! It's definitely a must picture for every family! But don't worry! Mommies can be a part of the session and we will also take individual portraits of your child (or children).

Many people have asked us how many pictures we can take on a mini-session, since you know... it's mini! But each mini-session lasts 25 minutes, which allow us a minimum of 5 poses with a variety of angles of each pose. So don't worry! You will have a good selection of images to choose from! :)

- Unlimited photography during 25 minutes

This is something we have offered to all our brides, and recently, we had the opportunity to design the first one!

I have been so excited about this! I have already said on other posts that Christmas is my favorite time of the year, but I loooooove Valentine's! (Or like we would say in Spain, they day of love)  It's probably because I love Nate so much :) And this year is our first being married!!!!! I really can't wait till February to celebrate it together! (and maybe get a little gift, hehe) And I have heard that there is a tapas restaurant here in Huntsville! So we're gonna have to check that out!

What is going on with us? :)

So it seems like we have not blogged in forever! We have been very busy with college, and we have not been able to do many photo sessions during this time, since I have spent almost whole days since early in the morning till dark just working on projects and observing teachers! I am student teaching for 5 weeks (I've done two of them already, so only three left!) and Nathan has been very busy with his school projects too. We also have been traveling and we're moving out of Tennessee soon. And I am graduating in December!!! But God has been blessing us greatly with all these things! We have learned so much and we can't wait to keep learning!

Due to this busy schedule we are having, and the change of the lighting during the winter, we have decided to offer a special edition of photo sessions during the month of November and part of December. We will be offering Christmas photo sessions that will last up-to 30 minutes (with unlimited photography during all that time) but will allow us to obtain a minimum of 10 images per session. The price for these sessions will be $30 and will include a personal on-line slideshow with music, a web-sized image for your facebook or blog, and all the time and photo editing of every image. Prints will be offered a la carte or on Christmas collections for additional savings! Of course you can choose to have a regular session too, but we would like to add this flexibility until our busy month of November gets calmer :) These sessions will be available from monday through friday after 4 pm, and saturdays all day.

So you can still get your Christmas pictures or your Christmas cards with us!!! And now with our bulk prices, you will be able to send your special Christmas pictures to all your family and friends for a very affordable price! As I have said before, Christmas is my favorite season of the year! In our photography, our main goal is to show the love and fun that our clients feel, and just show who they are and how they are in an unique way! That's what will make your pictures different and unique! Because the pictures are all you! :) And we believe that during Christmas, there is just this feeling that brings a special touch in families and couples, that can turn into beautiful pictures! With all the Christmas lights, the winter breeze, even the winter outfits, and a lot of little special details, pictures are going to be so fun!!!! Derrick and Julianna's Coffee Table Book

We finished designing this album a while ago, but we never posted any image on our blog, so we figured we would today! We have a couple of photo shootings coming up, so stay tuned!!!!

Coffee Table Book

Here are some pictures of our coffee table books! I love it! This is a sample book, and it can be designed to your taste. It comes with a hard custom designed cover, and it can contain up-to 40 pages! We offer them in 5x5, 8x8, and 10x10. This one on the pictures is 5x5. I can't wait to show it around!!! It's so cute! And it comes with a protector cover! Get it before september, 1st and get $20 your coffee table book! ;)

A little update

I know it has been a while since I´ve posted anything. I´ve kept myself very busy! I´m working on my branding, designing things, editing pictures, etc. But I really enjoy doing all this! Today I received some Christmas cards and birth announcements that I ordered. I absolutely love them!!! They turned out better than I expected! So that encouraged me even more to design others, lol. This one I posted can actually be used for many purposes: announcements, party invitations, christmas cards, etc. And it gives you the chance to put 4 pictures in case you can't decide what your favorite picture is! It's also perfect for families! Plus, you can change the colors to any color you want!

Don´t forget about the discount if you order yours before november!

I would like to post a slideshow with the wedding pictures, but I´m going to have to wait till next month. I want to do the very best, so I´m waiting till I go to the seminary in Nashville, where I know I will be able find good stuff! I´ll keep posting new pictures every once in a while!

While all this, God has been blessing us greatly! He keeps answering prayers, and that increases our faith in Him! He is so faithful and merciful! I started reading a book! God blessed me with a great book that is helping me to be the best help meet for my husband! And honestly, it´s helping me a lot, and everyday I´m more excited about reading more and more books! Nate loves reading, so that`s encouraging me even more. Plus my aunt Pilar, who loves reading, is encouraging me too :D

I know what you're thinking! what is this girl doing designing Christmas cards in August! is Christmas sooner in Spain? hehe, no, but it would be cool! I know I get too excited about Christmas, but this time I was just thinking ahead for everybody!!! Since this is my first Christmas as a married lady, I've been thinking about doing some cool Christmas cards to send everybody with a picture of us. Actually, I've always loved to do that and I finally can!!! We can send them as a new family! I actually enjoy designing, and I'll probably be working on more designs! I'll be designing cards for families, children, babies, couples, etc. to be able to offer a variety of products! I want you to be able to choose the style you want!
