And here are the pictures that Nate took of me! He is getting good at this! This is the first time he does a photo session!!!! I wonder how his photography will be in a few months... probably better than mine! :D Sorry that I'm not that great of a poser, I did what I could!
Welcome to our blog! We are missionaries to Spain who use photography to be a blessing to other missionaries and pastors. Since then, God has truly blessed our hobby and we are enjoying taking pictures even more! Feel free to comment! We love hearing about people and sharing experiences on photography, missions, and God!

God's promises
Another verse I read yesterday during my devotional and that I love!
"The Lord is not slack concerning his promise, as some men count slackness; but is long-suffering to us-ward, not willing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance."
This is was an answer to my prayers, since I'm praying for my family's salvation. I know God will do a mighty work, and I just have to keep praying faithfully :)
I posted some more pictures of Joel on our website if you would like to take a look at it! :D

Giving diligence to our calling
A couple of days ago, as I was doing my devotional, there was a verse that really got my attention. It is something I have always kept in mind, and it has always helped me stay on what God has called me to do. Every time I have a little doubt about what whether I should change something or not, I just tell myself: "God showed you what the right thing to do was, right? You followed His guidance, right? Has He told you to change it? No.... I guess it means that I have to just be patience and just wait for Him to show me every little step I have to take." Actually, Paqui was the one helping me one time when I was trying to decide whether I should switch colleges or no when I was a freshman. Since that conversation, this has worked for many decisions in my life and it has allowed me to use it to be a help to others! So when I read this verse yesterday, it just made me remember God's faithfulness and goodness. We just need to have faith that God will always do the perfect thing at the right time. He has showed me this during my whole Christian life, and I can never thank Him enough for it! :D
2 Peter 1:10 "Wherefore the rather, brethren, give diligence to make your calling and election sure: for if ye do these things, ye shall never fall." We also need to remember that no matter how long ago or how long till... if God called us to do something, we need to stick to it! It can be days, months, years... till we get to do it, but God is faithful!!!!! And as the verse says, we will never fall if we always keep in our heart what God has called us to do and to be :)
I thought I would share this with you all! Have a wonderful day!!!!!!!!

All the Glory Slideshow
Last saturday we had the opportunity to go to Atlanta to shoot pictures for the new cd that All the Glory have recorded! I've known David, Deanna, and Deborah since I was 12, when we all used to live in Spain. Their parents were missionaries there, and I started to attend their church when I got saved. I have so many good memories from those days! A couple of years after that, God called them to be missionaries to Venezuela, and it wasn't till 10 years later that I saw them again! Actually, this is the first time that I meet the three of them together after so many years! This week they have been recording a Christian cd in Spanish! And I can't wait to listen to it!! If you haven't listened to their music click here to hear some samples! We spent 3 and 1/2 hours shooting pictures! It was hot, there were people everywhere, and we walked soooo much! But it was worth it! It was so fun!!!! We couldn't stop taking pictures because we were getting more and more ideas! I've spent these last 2 days editing them, for hours!!!! but it became an addiction and I couldn't stop editing! lol We put some of them together on a slideshow!
We hope you like it!!!! And thank you for stopping by and take the time to read our blog!
And thank you to All the Glory for the time we had on saturday! You guys did a great job, and you'd better tell us as soon as the cd is out!!! ;)

Fran & Rebekah
This is my cousin Fran and his wife Rebekah! They're such a cute couple!!! They met at Crown College and got married last summer in Michigan. Fran has been a huge blessing to me in my Christian life! Rebekah is great! They both make a great couple! They're also going to be missionaries to Spain!! Praise God! It's going to be awesome when we all finally move to Spain! And God is going to do great things there!
We took this picture yesterday really quick right after the morning service! I had always wanted to take a picture like this on a couch like this, so this was the perfect opportunity! I had to retake it a couple times to get it better because there wasn't much light in the building, and I had to use a high ISO. But here it is!!! They look nice!!!!!! Hopefully next time, we'll have the chance to shoot some more pictures of them!
Arancha
My wonderful husband and I
As I said on the other blog, we spent the weekend in Huntsville, AL with my family. We had a Missions Conference in the Spanish ministry and Nate and I had the opportunity to teach the kids! It's so much fun! Nate taught the lessons, I did Bible verses, we sang songs, played games, etc. I love teaching with him, and the kids were so enthusiastic and involved in all the activities! Also it's fun because we always end up making the classes bilingual, hehe
On Sunday, we met a missionary family that is going to Brazil, and it was a blessing to hear them talk about their ministry, their family, etc. They are on deputation, so we were all curious about all those things, since we'll be going on deputation hopefully on a couple of years. It was a blessing to meet them and we learned new ways to reach people with the gospel!
We took a lot of pictures of the church, and the members, etc. We didn't really have much time to do any portrait session, except for Jonathan's, and one picture we took of my cousin Francisco and his wife Rebekah. We'll post it too! They're so fun! I can't wait to take some more pictures of them!
We left from Huntsville last night, and we got home at 1.30 am. So late!!! We said bye to Alberto and Ashley, since we won't be able to see them till December! It was so sad! I'm gonna miss them so much!!!! But in a few years, we all will be in Spain!!!!
About these pictures above... this is the window of the bedroom were we usually stay when we visit my family. I've been seeing this little window for years and I never thought of it as a picture like this! But it just poped in my head the other day! So Sunday morning before church, we set the car in front of the window, Nate adjusted all the camera settings, put the camera on the car's roof and started shooting with the self-timer shooting mode of the camera! It was so fun!!!! I was so excited about them that I had to edit them in the car on our way back to TN, hehe But here they are!!! I'm gonna print some enlargements and hang them on the walls!!!!!!! Yahoooo!!!!!!
In conclusion!!! It was a great weekend! The conference, the people, our friends, and family!!! I love spending time with my aunt and uncle and my cousins there! They make me laugh the whole time!!!!

A little moment to thank God
We just wanted to take a moment to thank God for all He is blessing us. Every day there is something else He does for us and He keeps filling our lives with blessings!! He knows what we need and when we need it, and He does everything in a perfect way! We just can't stop getting amazed when we see all His goodness in our lives!!!! Sorry I'm not too specific, but it has been so many things lately!! We're just praying that we'll be wise and remember all these things in the future, because He deserves all the glory and honor, and He does everything according to His perfect plans! We have a wonderful God!
He is also helping us with this business and with the pictures!!! We can't wait to post the next sessions we have, and we hope you'll like them! Yesterday, Nate got the camera and started taking pictures of me! It was his first official photo shooting! He did a great job, but I'm not very good at posing... hehe Now I know how people feel when I take pictures of them! So that also helped me improve the way I deal with them! We'll post the pics as soon as he edits them! He also edited the first picture showing on James' blog yesterday, and I was amazed!!!! I love it!
